Welcome to Capercaillie Counselling
Sometimes, with everyone else’s thoughts and opinions taking up space in your head, you can lose track of what you think and feel about a situation or event.
Take the time to filter out other voices and learn to listen to your own again. Get back in touch with your inner self and learn to be at peace with your life. Let me help you take that journey without judgment or advice so you can find your own way forward.
In my counselling room you will find the time and space to talk through what is going on for you and to be understood in a compassionate and genuine way.
I am qualified, registered with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and insured.
I follow the BACP Ethical Framework and comply with GDPR legislation.
Trained in counselling children and young people aged 11-18 I use creativity to allow them to explore their feelings and build their self-esteem. I can help young people to find their voice and learn to self soothe anxiety and stress. I have experience of working with neurodiversity and low confidence, I provide a calm and consistent space for young people to work through their internal landscape and find their balance in it.
People come to me for help a wide range of issues. Here are a few of the more common difficulties that can be supported through counselling:

Difficulties at work or in retirement
Problems with family or school life
This is your therapy so you can choose to have more or less than this number. I ask that we have a conversation about a decision to end so we can agree a pathway and you are not charged unnecessarily for missed sessions.
As I have to pay for our therapy room whether or not a session happens I ask that you pay 24 hours in advance and any missed sessions will still have to be paid for unless I have been notified of a break at least a week in advance.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on 07935 468434 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first.
